All VEs are strongly encouraged to register on ExamTools as soon as possible. HCARC is planning to start implementing ExamTools in-person testing starting July 2025. Once registered please confirm with an email your HCARC VE Team Leaders, Gary Pickett and Rob Schutte.
To register as a VE with ExamTools start at the ExamTools home page by entering into your browser https://examtools.org . (or just click the graphic below)
There will be three sections to choose from. Select REGISTER NOW in the middle section entitled Assist with or Manage exams and from this point on follow the instructions on the displayed pages.
Of special note .. you will be requested to upload an original copy of your FCC License. This must be the original PDF file that is downloaded from the FCC database and not a scan.
To obtain an official copy go to:
https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsEntry/licManager/login.jsp log in with your FRN and password. It will bring up a page that lists your licenses and at the to it will say in a green highlight, "obtain official copy here " it will down load your official copy ..
More information can be found on the VE Documentation section at Supporting Info . There is a lot of info there most of which can be helpful but, it can be confusing as well. There are also FAQs available in the documentation.
HCARC Team Leads are opting not to run Remote Sessions so anything related to that subject is not relevant to our implementation.
